Pakistan had 7 wickets in hand. They had the whole day to play. But Pakistan's batting lineup collapsed once again in Multan. Today, on the morning of the third day of the match, Pakistan lost all their wickets in 15.4 overs. Only 48 runs were added to the scoreboard.

However, Pakistan is not in a very bad position in the first Test of the series in Multan. They gave the visiting West Indies a target of 251 runs to chase in the fourth innings.

There is only one case of Pakistan winning by chasing more runs in the fourth innings in Multan. In 2003, Pakistan won by 261 runs against Bangladesh with Inzamam-ul-Haq's century.
